Welcome to HAPsI
As a registered UK charity we are committed to raising people's awareness to the many very poor children and their families in South India. We have an urgent priority to create a home for 30 orphans or semi orphans in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. At present we help to support them by raising funds for their food, clothes, medical expenses and educational needs.
In the future we also hope to be able to fund some sustainable development in the tribal communities of the villages in that area.

The New Awake Home
The new accommodation for Awake at Kannivadi is now progressing extremely well. The first floor level has now been completed; with all the wiring, plumbing and flooring completed so that it is now habitable.
On this level; there are now a large main room, two bedrooms for the children ( each sleeping 8), a guest room, toilets and a temporary kitchen block to the rear.
