Welcome to HAPsI
As a registered UK charity we are committed to raising people's awareness to the many very poor children and their families in South India. We have an urgent priority to create a home for 30 orphans or semi orphans in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. At present we help to support them by raising funds for their food, clothes, medical expenses and educational needs.
In the future we also hope to be able to fund some sustainable development in the tribal communities of the villages in that area.

Helping Children Live Fulfilling Lives
Through donations, since the foundation of the HAPsI charitable trust, we have funded the purchase of a new site for Awake Mercy Home and the completion of the first building on the site, which encompasses a first accommodation block.
Sadly, without a kitchen and dining hall, this home cannot function properly. Can you help?
The Awake Mercy Home was founded in 2002 to provide familystyle care and support for a small number of needy children. The home now houses 31 children and is administered by Krishnamoorthi and Elsie and a local committee of trustees. HAPsI has supplied funds to this registered Indian charity since 2008.
